Liverpool loanee Mario Balotelli is said to have told AC Milan teammate Diego Lopez that he dreams to one day play for Real Madrid, Express reports.
The 25-year-old is currently on loan with the Serie A giants after struggling to hold down a place in the squad following his £16million arrival from Milan back in the summer of 2014.
He has also been unable to feature on a daily basis for his current side this season as has only been able to score one goal from a total of only four league appearances so far.
Lopez revealed that Balotelli is a very nice person despite what the media is saying about him and is also a player that one day dreams of a move to Real.
“Mario isn’t like people paint him out to be,” he said.
“He is a nice guy and a good player and you know what? His dream is to play for Real Madrid.”
To make matters worse for the striker, he was recently forced to undergo surgery to fix a hip problem and has not featured since September.
His failure to play regularly as well as his recent drop in form could result in the Italy international missing out on a place in the squad ahead of Euro 2016.
