Liverpool star Roberto Firmino has pilled more pressure on the club after he cracked a bone in his back during the Capital One Cup win over Carlisle, Express reports.
The 23-year-old is set to miss the upcoming clash against Aston Villa tomorrow and could also be unable to feature during the Merseyside derby with Everton the following weekend.
He picked up the knock when he fell on his back after an aerial duel in the midweek game while it is still unsure how long the Brazil international will be out of action.
Reds medical staff have already been sent to monitor his situation, with his recovery depending on how well the pain in his back can be managed.
Captain Jordan Henderson recently underwent surgery to fix a broken metatarsal and will be out of action for the next two months.
Striker Christian Benteke is also a doubt with a hamstring problem while centre-back Dejan Lovren is still awaiting the results of a scan to determine the extent of a potential ankle ligament tear.
