Liverpool are considering a move to sign Neil Taylor, whose contract with Swansea City is nearing an end, according to reports from ESPN.
The 26-year-old’s form has alerted Reds boss Brendan Rodgers, who has already worked with the left-back during his time in charge of the Swans.
Taylor is reaching the final year of his contract and with negotiations at a standstill, the Reds will be trying to acquire his services in the summer.
The Welshman has been a regular under Garry Monk, featuring in 29 out of 30 possible Premier League games this term.
Apart from Liverpool, both Aston Villa as well as Newcastle United are also said to be ready to make a move in the summer, in hopes of bringing him over to their respective sides.
With his contract nearing an end, the Reds may be able to begin negotiations with offers of around £3million if he doesn’t agree to a new deal.
