Liverpool have made an inquiry over the availability of Queens Park Rangers star Charlie Austin, according to reports from the Metro.
Austin has been heavily linked with a move away from Loftus road this summer following an impressive campaign with the Hoops.
And although he couldn’t help QPR survive relegation, the English ace still managed to score an incredible 18 league goals.
This has therefore seen him linked with an exit, with Southampton, Newcastle United, and even champions Chelsea all in the running for his signature.
But now Liverpool have entered the race, despite recently agreeing to sign Danny Ings from Burnley earlier this month.
However, while Ings will move to Anfield on a free transfer, QPR president Tony Fernandes is demanding £15million for his star striker amid all the interest, which is set to result in a bidding war this summer.
