Liverpool have joined Tottenham Hotspur in the race to sign Paris Saint-Germain wonderkid Adrien Rabiot, Express reports.
Rabiot was heavily linked with a move away from PSG during the summer, but the Ligue-1 champions warded off any interest from the likes of Manchester United and Chelsea by offering the youngster a new contract.
However, the midfielder is finding game-time hard to come by sitting behind Blaise Matuidi, Marco Verratti, and Thiago Motta in the pecking order, and talks over a potential loan deal could be on the cards for the 19-year-old.
Spurs have already mooted their interest in signing Rabiot until the end of the season, but now the Reds are also willing to pay his newly agreed salary in order to bring him to Anfield.
The Premier League duo could be given a boost in their pursuit with PSG already lining up a move for AS Roma midfielder Miralem Pjanic, who is also a target for Manchester United after a brilliant few seasons in Serie A.
