Liverpool have been labelled as favourites to sign Paris Saint-Germain star Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who is also a target for Premier League rivals Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester City, Metro reports.
Zlatan has recently been heavily linked with a move away from the Parc des Princes after he was caught on camera insulting the referee and France following PSG’s 3-2 loss to Bordeaux during the weekend.
The Sweden captain scored a brace but was utterly disappointed with the defeat, before proceeding to blast the match officials and adding that the country does not deserve a club like PSG.
With Ibrahimovic’s future at the club uncertain, popular bookmaker Ladbrokes have put Liverpool as favourites to sign the controversial striker, with odds of Zlatan moving to Anfield priced at 8/1.
If the 33-year-old does make the switch to Liverpool, then it could spell the end of Rickie Lambert or Mario Balotelli, despite the two attackers only joining the Reds last summer.
Meanwhile, Chelsea, Arsenal, and City’s odds of signing Ibrahimovic are 10/1, 16/1, and 20/1 respectively.
