Liverpool legend Kenny Dalglish is open to the idea of bringing last season’s top scorer Luis Suarez on loan, Daily Star reports.
Dalglish presented the Golden Shoe award on Monday, before joking about how he would love to bring Suarez back to Anfield.
The Golden shoe is awarded to the payer with the most goals in Europe, in which Saurez tied Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo with 31 goals each.
Dalglish said: “From the first day he came in, it was just a fairytale for Luis at Liverpool.
“Without Suarez last year, Liverpool wouldn’t be where they are now. He was fantastic for us, really took the club forward and drove it on.
“I was delighted to come here today, I just had to cancel a round of golf. Everyone who follows Liverpool would love to be here tonight presenting him with the trophy.”
The now Barcelona ace is set to return from a four month football ban this Novemeber after biting Italy’s Giorgio Chiellini during the World Cup in Brazil and Dalgish believes he will tear apart La Liga defences just like he did in the EPL.
Dalglish added: “I do not think anyone will be able to stop him
“Luis has been fantastic everywhere he’s been, at his clubs and with his country. He has always been hugely entertaining.
“There is no reason why that will not continue at Barcelona. But if there is a problem I’m sure [Liverpool] can take him back on loan.”
