The agent of Roma attacker Juan Iturbe has confirmed that there are offers on the table from leading English sides.
The Argentine attacker has been linked with a move to Liverpool over recent months, with the Reds also said to have been interested in the former Porto schemer in the summer before he joined the capital city Italian side.
Iturbe lit up Serie A with Verona last season while on loan, with Roma moving quickly to add him to Rudi Garcia’s squad.
The South American’s agent has stated that Iturbe’s first season at the Stadio Olimpico has not gone entirely to plan and that his client has an exit route in the form of English offers on the table.
“Iturbe’s injury was not well understood by Roma and that didn’t give him confidence,” Gustavo Mascardi is quoted as saying by Metro.
“Will he leave? There are very good proposals from England for him.”
Iturbe has been in and out of Garcia’s Roma side this season but has shown in glimpses that he possesses exceptional technical ability.
The Argentine is valued in the range of £20 million and would be an exciting signing for Liverpool ahead of next season.
