Liverpool star Fabio Borini is set to be given a Premier League lifeline as he is said to have been offered to Aston Villa and Leicester City, according to reports from the Express.
The 24-year-old has struggled to register game time ever since his arrival back in 2012 and could now be sold ahead of the new campaign.
He has constantly been linked with an exit throughout the previous months and was close to completing a move to Sunderland following his displays while on loan with the club.
Villa are in the market for a new striker after they sold star man Christian Benteke to the Reds for £32.5million.
Benteke’s arrival joined by the earlier addition of Danny Ings is likely to limit Borini’s role even further, hinting that he may need to consider leaving Anfield in search of a more regular role.
Newly appointed Leicester boss Claudio Ranieri is yet to make a signing this summer and could decide to cash in on the services of the Italian striker especially with Liverpool keen to sell.
