Liverpool plan to capitalise on Arsenal’s transfer business

Atletico Madrid will allow Arda Turan to join Liverpool should the defending La Liga champions manage to land Arsenal’s Santi Cazorla, that is according to reports in the Daily Express.

Santi Cazorla, who bagged the Premier League’s Player of the Month award in December, will have one-year left on his contract at the end of the current campaign, meaning Arsene Wenger may well choose to sell up should a new deal not be finalised with the Spaniard.

Diego Simeone is believed to be willing to allow Arda Turan – who they value at £26.5million – to leave in order to accommodate Santi Cazorla in his favoured No.10 position.

Turan has been a long-term target of Liverpool and even revealed prior to joining his current club Atletico that the Merseyside outfit were his dream club.

Arsenal take on Everton later today whilst Liverpool welcome Premier League champions Manchester City as they look to break into the top four following Thursday’s Europa League exit.
