Liverpool are considering a £22.3million offer to sign former Arsenal target Dennis Praet from Anderlecht, Express reports.
The 21-year-old has emerged as a possible target for the Reds, along with Serie A side Fiorentina following remarks made by his agent Jacques Lichtenstein.
Lichtenstein admitted that his client could leave given that he has already won three league titles in his three years with the club.
“What can he gain by spending one more season at Anderlecht?” he said.
“He has already played for three years and has contributed to three back-to-back league titles…”
Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is favourites to acquire his services as Fiorentina aren’t likely to be able to meet Anderlecht’s £22.3million asking price.
Klopp is believed to be preparing the offer during the current window as he looks to add more players into his injury ravaged squad.
He has been quite busy this month, with the club recently completing deals for Marko Grujic as well as Polish goalkeeper Kamil Grabara.
Praet has already featured 24 times in all competitions this term, so far scoring four goals while being able to provide another six assists and was a target for Arsenal back in 2010.
