Liverpool are considering a move for Bayern Munich star Mario Gotze, according to reports from the Liverpool Echo.
The Reds have been heavily linked with a move for several new players in the January transfer window, as no less than 13 of their first team stars are currently sidelined with injury.
Manager Jurgen Klopp has already revealed that he will sign a new centre-back this month, but it seems he is also eyeing other options.
Now German publication Bild has come out to claim that Klopp is interested in bringing Bayern ace Gotze to Anfield, and he will use the relationship during their time together in Dortmund to seal the deal.
The Germany international has found it difficult to play on a regular basis at the Allianz Arena, and earlier this season was frustrated with his lack of game time.
Gotze, 23, has only made 11 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring four goals.
