Liverpool are looking to sign West Ham United star Manuel Lanzini when the transfer window re-opens, according to reports from the Metro.
Lanzini is currently playing with West Ham on loan from Al-Jazira, and has been impressive for Slaven Bilics’ side so far this season.
However, the 22-year-old is now being tracked by the Reds despite the Irons looking to make his move to Upton Park permanent.
It seems as if Jurgen Klopp has asked some of his scouts to monitor the situation of the player, with the German urged to add wingers into the squad.
The Hammers will be quite reluctant to lose Lanzini this January, as star midfielder Dimitri Payet is out injured until the end of February due to an ankle problem.
West Ham will look to recover their fine early season form this weekend against Tottenham Hotspur, with both London clubs tied on 21 points in 5th and 6th place.
