Liverpool ready to sell first-team star for £25 million

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is reportedly ready to offload crocked striker Daniel Sturridge and will listen to offers of £25 million for the England international, according to The Mirror.

The former Manchester City and Chelsea centre forward is a burgeoning talent and was a key reason for the Reds almost winning the Premier League crown in 2013-14.

However, despite his abilities, Sturridge has had considerable injury concerns throughout hi young career to date.

The gifted attacker spent most of last season on the treatment table, while he has only started three Premier League games so far this term.

As such, Klopp is eager to find a reliable centre forward that he can build an Anfield dynasty around and has seemingly lost patience with the crocked striker.

The report suggests that the Merseyside club are ready to cut their losses on the England international and put the money towards signing a replacement that can be relied on.
