The agent of AC Milan star Jeremy Menez has denied that Liverpool are in talks with his client, according to the Express.
Menez has recently been linked with a move to Anfield, with reports claiming that the Reds are negotiating a £10.5million offer to lure him away from Italy.
However, the speculation has been rubbished by Menez’s brother and agent, who believes that the France international will continue his career at the San Siro.
He said: “An offer from Liverpool? We’ve had no contact with the Reds, Menez will definitely stay at Milan.”
Kop manager Brendan Rodgers was believed to be looking for an attacking midfielder to replace England ace Raheem Sterling, who joined Manchester City for a massive fee of £49million.
But it seems that the former Swansea boss will need to look elsewhere, with the likes of Borussia Dortmund star Marco Reus being linked as a possible replacement.
Menez, 28, was one of Milan’s bright spots during a disappointing season, in which the 7-time European champions finished a mediocre 10th.
