Liverpool have sent scouts to keep an eye on Besiktas star Ismail Koybasi ahead of a possible squad overhaul in the summer, according to Superhaber.
The 26-year-old was being monitored by Anfield representatives, Dave McDonough and Kevin Hunt, when he featured for his side in the 2-0 defeat to Fenerbahce.
He has been a consistent performer for manager Senol Gunes’ squad as they edge closer to the Turkish Super Lig crown after previously winning back in 2009.
They are currently sitting second on the league table, two points behind first place club Fenerbahce, but still have a game in hand over their local rivals.
It is believed that Reds boss Jurgen Klopp could consider a move to replace under-fire left-back Alberto Moreno with the Turkey international.
He has already featured in 16 league matches while making another six Champions League appearances for his side this term, so far managing to provide one assist in the process.
