Liverpool set sights on Monaco ace

Liverpool look set to move for Monaco striker Benjamin Moukandjo, according to Mirror Football.

The 22-year old only signed for Monaco in January but the club have since been relegated and he could be seen as a cheaper alternative to Lille’s Gervinho, also a £10 million target for Arsenal.

Capable of playing on the wing or up front, the Cameroon international scored 3 goals since his switch from Ligue 2 side Nimes.

The club are thought to be reluctant to sell and the player still has 3 years left on his Monaco contract but is thought to be keen on playing top-flight football.
