Liverpool are set to complete their recall of Jordon Ibe this month after Brendan Rodgers is said to have triggered a clause to bring him back to Anfield from Derby, Daily Star reports.
The 19-year-old has been on good form during his loan spell in the Championship, making 24 appearances so far this season contributing five goals for his side.
Brendan Rodgers previously revealed that he has been keeping track of the performances of his players and will be deciding this month whether he would bring some back earlier than expected.
“We are obviously getting reports from our scouts that monitor our players, and go to training grounds see the players.
“I’ve seen Jordon, and he’s been outstanding. We need to decide if right time to bring him back.
“It is a loan to the end of season, but we could bring him back if we need to, because there is a review in January.”
Ibe hasn’t really been given any sort of definite role since joining the club back in 2012, making only two appearances so far, but could be reintroduced into Rodger’s attack during the upcoming months.
The English youngster has helped Derby reach second place in the league and is now tipped to return to his club following what is now considered to be a successful loan spell under Steve McClaren.
