Liverpool are ready to splash the cash on Atletico Madrid star Arda Turan, who is valued at £25.6million by the Spanish giants, according to reports from the Metro.
The Reds have been heavily linked with a move for Turan in the last 18 months, and could finally sign their man in the summer transfer window.
Manager Brendan Rodgers is keen on bringing Turan to Anfield, with the player dubbed as the ‘Turkish Cristiano Ronaldo’ for his attacking ability with the La Liga champions.
And it has been suggested that Liverpool will do all they can to sign the 28-year-old, who seems to have fallen out with manager Diego Simeone after not being picked in several games.
Turan has however played an important role in his club’s attempt to win back-to-back La Liga titles, scoring three goals and providing six assists in all competitions this season.
The midfielder was a product from Galatasaray’s youth system, before being signed by Atletico in 2011 for £9million.
