Liverpool set to sign Malaga star with club ready to sanction sale

Liverpool have been boosted in their chase to sign Ignacio Camacho after Malaga are expected to sanction his sale, Mirror reports.

The 25-year-old has emerged as a possible midfield target for manager Jurgen Klopp as he looks to rebuild his squad during the summer window.

Read Liverpool FC claimed that Camacho went to the club’s Melwood training camp with his agent amid rumours that he was there to open talks over a potential move.

He is current tied down with an £8million release-clause in his contract, but with the club suffering from some financial problems, he could be sold for a cut-price £4million fee.

The central midfielder also fuelled speculation of his exit after earlier revealing his willingness to leave at the end of the current campaign.

He is now a regular feature for his side, already making 13 appearances in all competitions this term after managing to overcome a host of earlier injury concerns.
