The Uruguayan aspires to feature in Serie A as so many South American’s do during their careers, most famously with Diego Maradona idolised by clubs such as Napoli.
Suarez admitted that he had an offer to join an Italian side in the summer of 2012 but he decided to stay with Liverpool, something that has worked out well for the striker who is set to guide the Anfield club back into the Champions League and possibly the Premier League title race.

“A future in Italy? Never say never,” Suarez told the Gazzetta dello Sport.
“For a South American player who wants to get into history, it is advisable to have an experience in Serie A.
“Italian football is a top level and I follow it assiduously. Two years ago I received an offer from Serie A, I don’t want to name the team, it was a difficult time for me, but after thinking about it I decided to stay in Liverpool.”
