Liverpool star Daniel Sturridge is nearing his comeback after resuming outdoor training, according to reports from the Daily Mail.
Sturridge has been plagued by constant injuries ever since picking up a knock with England last season, but finally looks close to full fitness after being able to run outdoors for the first time in months.
This will come as a big boost to manager Jurgen Klopp, who still hasn’t had the opportunity to field Sturridge after his training ground collision with team-mate Jordan Ibe a day before the German’s debut against Tottenham.
And even with the high number of injured stars such as Joe Gomez, Danny Ings, and Mamadou Sakho, Klopp is adamant that Sturridge will need at least 10 days of full training to even be in contention to play a league fixture.
The 26-year-old only managed to play three games in all competitions this season, but has scored two goals.
