Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho has pulled out of international duty with the Brazil squad after picking up an injury, according to reports from the Daily Mail.
The 23-year-old was able to feature the full 90 minutes in the 1-1 draw with Everton at the weekend, but has asked to sit out of his nations next two matches.
Brazil boss Dunga has now decided to replace the Reds attacking midfielder with Orlando City star Kaka for their upcoming matches against Chile and Venezuela.
However, it is still unknown what type of knock the player picked up or how serious it is, but Coutinho’s injury will add even more concerns for the Anfield club.
In addition to their current injury crisis, the squad are also without a manager after the board decided to part ways with Brendan Rodgers as replacements are now being lined up.
