Emre Can is set to be offered a new deal with Liverpool after a stunning end to the campaign, according to the Daily Mail.
Can was a member of the Liverpool team that made the way to the Europa League final and has become a crucial figure in the centre of the park under Jurgen Klopp with his box-to-box midfield performances meaning that Jordan Henderson and James Milner are left to compete for one role.
The reports from the Mail states that Can currently has two years left on his current deal, but the new contract would extend this by a further two seasons.
Although he is currently on Euro 2016 duty with the German squad, Can could still sign this deal over the next few weeks and this would be just as significant as signing any new player considering the immense potential that the German has.
Can is still only 22 years old.
