Liverpool striker Luis Suarez has reportedly admitted his desire to play for Ligue 1 side Paris Saint Germain, according to Sky Sports.
After the Patrice Evra affair, Suarez has been put under a lot of pressure by the British media, not only for the racial accusations but his failure to shake Evra’s hand in the corresponding match at Old Trafford.
Despite the club’s efforts to defend the player for as long as they could, reports now suggest the the Uruguayan international is looking for a way out of the Premier League.
Suarez, according to Canal Television in France has expressed a desire to play with international team mate Diego Lugano at PSG, “I would love to play at the same club as him,
“Yes, I could come to Paris, like lots of other clubs. There are lots of big clubs with such a reputation who want to build a strong team and Paris are one of these teams who buy to strengthen their side” he added.
Kenny Dalglish only this week suggested that any approach for Suarez from PSG wouldn’t be welcomed and they would be wasting their time on the Uruguayan who has scored 14 goals in 40 games, since his £22.8m switch from Ajax in January 2011.
