Liverpool starlet Sheyi Ojo is close to joining Championship club Wolverhampton Wanderers on a season-long loan, according to reports from the Mirror.
Ojo spent last term also on loan at Wigan Athletic, and his impressive performances have seen him coveted by several second-tier contenders.
But it is Wolves that have won the race for his signature, with the Reds agreeing to let the 18-year-old spend a year at the Molineux Stadium in order to gain some more first-team experience.
The winger was hoping to get a shot in Brendan Rodgers’ plans this season but with the club signing a host of players this summer, Ojo would have struggled for playing time at Anfield.
Ojo managed to score his first senior goal for Liverpool when the Reds beat Swindon Town in a friendly during the weekend, which also happened to be the winning strike in a 2-1 victory.
Last season, the England Under-18 star made 11 appearances for the Latics, but was unable to get on the scoresheet.
