Liverpool star Daniel Sturridge has sustained another injury while training with the Reds on Monday, Sky Sports reports.
The former Chelsea striker seems to have suffered a thigh problem, however it is still uncertain how serious the injury is.
This will come as a huge blow to Brendan Rodgers, who was hoping to have Sturridge fit for this weekend’s game against Crystal Palace.
The 25-year-old has not played a game for Liverpool since August 31, when they beat Tottenham Hotspur 3-0.
Sturridge then went on international duty and hurt his thigh, before sustaining an additional calf injury when trying to recover during October.
The Reds have been struggling since the absence of Sturridge, as summer signing Mario Balotelli has yet to find the net in the Premier League this season.
