Mario Balotelli’s agent Mino Raila is said to be trying to persuade him to leave Liverpool during the January window given his poor start to the campaign, Daily Star reports.
Despite the 24-year-old only securing his move to Anfield in the summer, he has been finding it very hard to fit into the tactics set by Brendan Rodgers and is yet to score his first Premier League goal since his move from AC Milan.
His agent is now trying to negotiate a deal with Rafa Benitez in order to allow his client to secure a loan move to Napoli on a six month deal.
The Serie A side earlier declared their interest in the Italian striker while Balotelli himself could be interested in the move because Rodgers revealed that he would have a very limited role during the second half of the campaign.
With Daniel Sturridge still injured, the Reds are now benching the former Manchester City man and playing with a front midfield trio of Philippe Coutinho, Raheem Sterling, and Adam Lallana.
