However, in an interview with Europe 1, the attacking midfielder named United as the club of his dreams and hopes to earn himself a move to Old Trafford in the future.
“Why can’t I one day play for Manchester [United]? This is the club of my dreams,” he said.
“I am not there yet. I must have a good season with Lyon and then we’ll see.”
The France international also previously revealed his desire to feature outside the French top flight, but is likely to remain with Lyon for another year after helping them clinch a Champions League spot.
“This season I have to back up what I have done.
“I have to do everything I can to continue progressing.
“There is also the Champions League. I want to give back to OL what the club has given me.
