Liverpool look set to miss out on the services of Barcelona star Adriano after he is said to have agreed a four-year deal with Roma, according to reports from the Express.
The 30-year-old was one of the many full back targets linked with a move to Anfield this summer as manager Brendan Rodgers was looking to reinforce his backline.
Adriano looks set for an exit after struggling to hold down a regular role in the squad over the course of the previous campaign and could be sold for around the £5million region.
The Barca man has found it very hard to overtake current first-choice left-back Jordi Alba to the role, limiting him to only 10 La Liga starts this past term.
It was earlier believed that Alberto Moreno was on the verge of leaving the club, hence the need to find an adequate replacement.
However, with Moreno now being tipped to remain with the Reds, Rodgers has instead turned his attentions to reinforcing other areas of his squad.
