Liverpool legend John Aldridge is backing his former club to finish in the top four after managing to beat Manchester City 4-1, Express reports.
Since the appointment of manager Jurgen Klopp back in October, the Reds also managed to beat Chelsea as they continue their bids to move up the Premier League table.
However, they are still struggling to perform at Anfield as they dropped points against Norwich City, West Ham United, and Crystal Palace so far this season.
Aldridge believes that if Klopp can get his players to replicate their away form at home, they have a very high chance of finishing with a spot in the Champions League.
“The problem Liverpool have got now is to sort out their home form,” he said.
“We’ve played all the main teams away from home and we’ve accumulated a nice amount of points, probably more than I expected if I’m honest.
“If we can sort out our home form and get it better, we’ve got a massive, massive chance of getting into the top four.”
The Reds currently find themselves ninth on the table after picking up five wins, five draws, and three loses from their previous 13 fixtures.
They will now have to prepare for their upcoming match against Bordeaux in the Europa League before facing Swansea in the league at the weekend.
