Liverpool are looking to continue their summer spree with a shock move for Real Madrid star Toni Kroos, according to reports from the Metro.
The 25-year-old is believed to be unsettled at the Bernabeu after only one season following his £20million transfer from Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich.
Manager Brendan Rodgers is still considering the idea of bringing in more midfield reinforcements as he is yet sign a player capable of replacement club legend Steven Gerrard, who earlier joined MLS side LA Galaxy.
With speculation that Kroos may leave Real this summer, a number of other European sides have also been alerted by his sudden availability.
The Germany international featured for his side 55 times in all competitions last term, scoring two goals while providing a further 15 assists, and is being valued at around the £35million mark.
