Liverpool are planning to make a £14.9million bid for Real Madrid ace Denis Cheryshev, according to reports from the Telegraph.
Cheryshev has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League in recent weeks, with Tottenham Hotspur also keen on the Ukraine international.
The winger has found out it difficult to play on a regular basis at the Santiago Bernabeu ever since emerging from the youth team, which has seen him loaned out to Sevilla and Villarreal the past two seasons.
However, last term the 24-year-old impressed with the Yellow Submarines, and his limited game time with Real has alerted Liverpool of his availability.
The Reds are expected to submit a bid in the region of £14.9million to facilitate the move, with a buy-back clause also set to be inserted to sweeten the deal.
Cheryshev made 40 appearances for Villareal last season, scoring seven goals and supplying an additional 11 assists.
