Liverpool are reportedly ready to make a January move for out-of-favour Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu, Metro report.
The Italy international has played a part in the French capital city side becoming a domestic powerhouse over recent seasons, but has lost his starting jersey to Kevin Trapp.
As such, Sirigu is widely expected to leave the Parc des Princes either over the next month or in the summer, with plenty of suitors interested in securing his services.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp remains unconvinced by Simon Mignolet as the Belgian showcases inconsistent form, with a new stopper thought to be high up the German’s wishlist over the next month.
The 15-times capped Azzurri international has been linked with a host of other Premier League clubs, while teams in his homeland are also keeping a close eye on the situation.
Sirigu has only featured in one Ligue 1 fixture this season and vented his frustration at being on the fringes last month.
