London club ready to whisk away Man United attacker, Mou looks set to sanction deal

According to reports from The Sun, Fulham are looking to sign Manchester United striker James Wilson on a season-long loan.

The 20-year-old began his Red Devils career with a stunning brace against Hull City during Ryan Giggs’ interim spell in charge, but there has been worryingly little progress since.

Indeed, the England U21 made just 19 appearances across all competitions under Louis van Gaal and finished last season on loan at Brighton in the Championship.

According to The Sun, Fulham are hopeful of convincing him to return to the second tier this summer, with Jose Mourinho reportedly telling the 5 foot 11 forward to go out on loan for 2016/17.

However, the Cottagers still face competition from Championship rivals Derby County, who are also eyeing a loan swoop for the promising frontman.

Fulham are currently fourth in the Championship after claiming seven points from their first three games. Derby, meanwhile, have lost one, won one and drawn one.
