Romelu Lukaku has revealed that he has developed a close relationship with Manchester United teammate Marcus Rashford since joining the 20-time English champions.

Lukaku moved to Man United from Everton earlier this summer, and has already scored three times in his two competitive appearances for the Red Devils.

After netting against Real Madrid in the UEFA Super Cup last week, the Belgian international hit a brace in Man United's 4-0 win over West Ham United in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

Rashford provided the assist for Lukaku's first against West Ham, and the 24-year-old has revealed that he has developed a tight bond with the Englishman since arriving in Manchester.

Lukaku told MUTV:

"With me and Marcus, there’s something special. Hopefully we can produce even more [in the future] than we did today.

“We clicked from the first day that I arrived, and I knew that he would help me settle in at the club."

Lukaku has now scored 120 Premier League goals since arriving in the top flight of English football in the summer of 2011.

Man United will look to make it back-to-back wins at the start of the new Premier League season when they visit Swansea City on Saturday afternoon.
