Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti could deal both Arsenal and Chelsea a transfer blow after it is believed that he is trying to convince Sami Khedira to snub the Premier League and join AC Milan instead, Daily Star reports.
He has previously urged Alex as well as Jeremy Menez to make a switch from Paris Saint-Germain and was also part of the deal which saw Diego Lopez leave the Bernabeu to join the Serie A side.
It looks as thought he will be doing the same in order to see his former side boosted with the signing of the 27-year-old World Cup winner.
Although both the Gunners and the Blues are tipped as favourites to lure Khedira to England, Ancelotti is now in control as he hopes to see the German midfielder snub the move.
Juventus are another Italian club monitoring the player and could even even win over the Madrid boss by including Arturo Vidal in a possible swap deal.
