Arsenal look to have been dealt another injury blow after Aaron Ramsey was forced to limp off the pitch while on international duty with Wales in their 2-1 Euro 2016 qualifier against Andorra, Metro reports.
The 23-year-old midfielder suffered an ankle knock as his manager Chris Coleman played down the seriousness of the incident while remaining positive over his chance to feature for his club against current Premier League champions Manchester City at the weekend.
“He got a kick and there was a twist in his ankle,” Coleman said.
“It was coming to the end of the game and it was pointless taking a risk with him.
“Hopefully he’ll be OK for Arsenal at the weekend but we’ll have to see what the next 24 to 48 hours hold.”
Arsene Wenger is once again facing a problem with his players getting hurt, despite the fact that he has already added more depth into his squad during the recent transfer window.
He is currently without first choice striker Olivier Giroud who will miss the rest of 2014 with a broken ankle while the French boss will also be sweating over the fitness of Laurent Koscielny, Mesut Ozil, and Mikel Arteta.
