Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba will not be moving to Chelsea or anyone else in January, his agent has confirmed.
The French midfielder is widely acknowledged as one of the brightest prospects in the world game, with scope for a massive move to one of Europe’s top clubs.
The Blues have been heavily linked with a move for the former Manchester United man over recent months, as Jose Mourinho looks to add another star to his squad.
With Barcelona and Manchester City also reportedly willing to break the bank to land Pogba, speculation of the midfielder’s future has been rife.
However, Mino Raiola has stated that his client will not leave Turin in January but there could be scope for a summer move.
“Paul is a lad who decides with his heart, and at the moment he’s focused on Juventus,” the agent is quoted as saying by The Daily Mail.
“I can categorically rule out a move in January. In the future we’ll see, we’ll talk at the end of July.”
Pogba was a driving force in the Juventus side that won its fourth consecutive Serie A title last term and that powered its way to the Champions League final.
