Manchester City are now considering a move for Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho after already being linked with both Raheem Sterling and Jordan Henderson, Daily Star reports.
The 22-year-old joins the champions’ lengthy shopping list as they plan to overhaul the squad ahead of the new campaign.
City have been struggling this season and are set to lose out on any silverware after dropping points in the league and getting knocked out of the Champions League.
There has been speculation that if manager Brendan Rodgers fails to lead his team to a spot in Europe, the Manchester side are ready to lure Coutinho away with an offer around the £20million region.
In regards to Sterling and Henderson, the pair have both rejected a new contract offer from the Anfield club, and if no advances are made with their extensions, they could also targeted for a switch to the Etihad Stadium.
