Manchester City are said to have reached an agreement with Fulham over their move to sign Manchester United target Patrick Roberts, Mirror reports.
The 18-year-old is currently regarded as one of England’s most promising prospects, and has attracted interest from a host of clubs in the Premier League.
He rejected a contract extension at his current side and with his deal set to expire in about a year, Fulham are likely to cash in on his services during the upcoming window.
City are said to have made a bid around the £8million region and will be looking to loan him out right away, either back to his current side or to another club in the English top flight.
Manager Manuel Pellegrini is in the market for more players who can help fill the home grown quota in his squad.
Aside from Roberts, the Chilean boss is also keeping a close eye on Liverpool winger Raheem Sterling as well as Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere.
