Manchester City have emerged as favourites to sign Chelsea target Enes Unal from Bursaspor, according to reports from the Daily Mail.
The 18-year-old only has a year left on his current deal, and City are looking to give him a place in the club’s youth setup.
Despite his age, the striker has already featured for the Turkey national team, while appearing for his club a total of 31 times last season, scoring one goal.
The Blues are also among the teams monitoring the situation of the player who is expected to cost around the £2.5million region.
Apart from Unal, manager Manuel Pellegrini’s side are also keeping a watchful eye on 18-year-old Fulham starlet Patrick Roberts.
The English striker is believed to be worth about £10million, £5million straight up while the other £5million is expected to be divided into additional add-ons.
He will be a useful addition for City due to Pellegrini’s intent of adding more home grown players to fill the squad’s quota ahead of the upcoming season.
