Manchester City have reached an agreement with Roma to sell Edin Dzeko for £14million this summer, according to reports from the Express.
The 29-year-old joined from Wolfsburg back in 2011, but the recent acquisition of attacking stars has pushed him further down the pecking order.
He only managed to register 11 Premier League starts while appearing as a substitute a further 11 times last term, scoring four goals and providing another two assists.
City are said to be keen on letting the striker leave during the current window as manager Manuel Pellegrini plans to offload a few players.
The £49million signing of Raheem Sterling from Liverpool along with the £30million acquisition of Wilfried Bony from Swansea City is bound to limited Dzeko’s playing time next season.
He is now likely to follow former club striker Stevan Jovetic out of the Etihad as he earlier agreed a loan deal to join Serie A side Inter Milan.
