Manchester City star Edin Dzeko is set to complete his move to Roma subject to a medical with the club, according to reports from the Daily Mail.
The 29-year-old has seen very limited playing time despite being his club’s leading scorer back in the 2012-2013 campaign.
He is now in Rome in order to finalize his switch from the Premier League and was given a warm reception from the Giallorossi fans upon his arrival.
The two clubs have already agreed on a £14million fee as Dzeko is now set to follow former teammate Stevan Jovetic to the Serie A.
Jovetic was also frustrated by his lack of chances at the Etihad, opting him to agree a 18-month loan deal to Inter Milan with an option to make the transfer permanent.
Despite already offloading two strikers this summer, manager Manuel Pellegrini still has a number of options up top, with Sergio Aguero, Wilfried Bony, and new man Raheem Sterling all capable of playing the attacking role.
