Man City star set to snub mega move to Real Madrid

Manchester City star Sergio Aguero has revealed his happiness at the club and is not likely to accept a mega move to Real Madrid, according to reports from the Daily Star.

The 27-year-old has once again been on sensational form for his side, winning the Golden Boot, but was still unable to help his team clinch the Premier League title.

There was speculation that Aguero was frustrated with his team’s failure to advance into the latter stages of the Champions League, hinting that he may favour a switch to the Spanish giants in search of more silverware.

However, the Argentina international has come out to admit that he has been enjoying his time in England and is ready to continue his career at the Etihad.

“I’m enjoying these four years that I’ve had at City and there are still many more years to come. I’m very happy,” he said.

He has been a regular feature the previous term, avoiding any lengthy injury spells, scoring a total of 32 goals from 42 appearances in all competitions.

Madrid were considering the idea of replacing Karim Benzema with the City star amid rumours that Manchester United and Arsenal were ready to lure the Frenchman away from the Bernabeu.
