Manchester City star Joe Hart is still a doubt ahead of his team’s Champions League quarter-final first leg against Paris Saint-Germain, Mirror reports.
The 28-year-old goalkeeper picked up an injury to his calf during the 1-0 defeat to Manchester United back on March 20, with Willy Caballero coming on as his replacement.
Cabellero was once again called up in the 4-0 victory over Bournemouth at the weekend and is likely to continue his role between the sticks when City take on the Ligue 1 giants at the Parc des Princes.
He admitted that he still doesn’t know whether Hart will play or not, but he is hoping to be given the chance to take on PSG.
“I haven’t spoken to the manager about Paris, as we don’t know about Joe’s recovery,” he said.
“I just tried to enjoy the game against Bournemouth on Saturday and hopefully if I get the opportunity, it will be a big chance for me to play in Paris.”
City have a tough run of fixtures heading into their final seven matches of the Premier League campaign as they are also competing with United for a top four spot.
The Red Devils are currently sitting fifth on the league table, behind City by only one point, but don’t have any Champions League football left to play.
