Manchester United midfielder Jesse Lingard has extended his stay at the club by penning a new three-year deal, but will be sent on loan to Derby until the end of the current campaign, Sky Sports reports.
The 22-year-old began the season in the first team for the club before a serious injury sidelined him for an extended period as new summer signings eventually forced him out of a regular role.
Lingard was often loaned out over the course of the previous season, spending time at Leicester City and Birmingham, with Brighton being his most recent switch.
The England Under-21 midfielder will now join Steve McClaren at the club who are pushing for promotion from the Championship.
Derby are currently sitting second in the league, level on points with first place Bournemouth, only behind on goal difference.
They have also acquired the services of Tom Ince from Hull City, with the winger also joining on a season long loan.
