Manchester United have been alerted after Paris Saint-Germain are said to have made David de Gea one of their summer targets, BuzzSport reports.
The 25-year-old goalkeeper was on the verge of leaving Old Trafford for Real Madrid during the previous summer window, but a miscommunication between the two sides eventually saw the move break down.
Despite their failed previous failed attempt, the Spanish giants are said to still be interested in the player as they continue to monitor his situation.
With PSG now joining the race for his services, the two interested parties could spark a bidding war as United are expected to persuade him to snub an exit.
De Gea is currently being valued at around the £36million region by the Red Devils and is regarded as a vital member of the squad.
Apart from the Spain international, it is believed that the Ligue 1 giants are also considering Chelsea’s Thibaut Courtois and Tottenham Hotspur’s Hugo Lloris as other possible candidates.
