Manchester United, Liverpool, and Arsenal target Marco Reus is set to leave Borussia Dortmund after the club have made a move for a replacement in Paris Saint-Germain’s Javier Pastore, Express reports.
Pastore has been linked with a move to the Westfalenstadion in the upcoming January window despite interest coming from European champions Real Madrid.
If the Argentine was to arrive, then it could pave the way for Reus to make an exit.
Manager Jurgen Klopp knows he could lose Reus for £20million when his release clause activates next summer, and believes if he offloads the Germany international this January the club could receive a significantly higher fee.
The 25-year-old has already expressed he is not looking to sign a new contract, which has alerted a host of top European sides including Premier League trio Man United, Liverpool, and Arsenal.
Manchester City are also monitoring the attacking midfielder’s situation, while Bundesliga powerhouse Bayern Munich has also been linked after signing Reus’ former teammates Robert Lewandowski and Mario Gotze.
Reus scored 23 goals in 43 appearances for Dortmund last season, before unfortunately missing Germany’s World Cup triumph with an injury.
