Manchester United and Arsenal are being tipped to miss out on Karim Benzema after Antoine Griezmann revealed that his international teammate will not be leaving Real Madrid, Express reports.
The 23-year-old admitted that he cannot see the French striker leaving the Bernabeu despite drawing huge interest from a number of top sides.
“He’s a veteran at Real Madrid, he’s doing very well and I can’t see him leaving,” he said.
“He’s had some leg problems this year, but he’s very strong mentally. He’ll be back to his best next season.”
Liverpool are also among the teams interested in the services of the Madrid man, who is also being backed by Griezmann to return to his best next season.
United boss Louis van Gaal is keen on adding another attacker to replace Radamel Falcao, who failed to impress the Dutch boss on his loan spell from Monaco.
There have also been speculation that he was even willing to allow top Madrid target David de Gea to leave if they included Benzema in the potential deal.
With the France international’s future still a doubt, the La Liga giants have made Manchester City star Sergio Aguero a top summer target to reinforce their frontline.
